Scientific and team leadership

Clinical work is also a human system

At University of Chicago Medicine, I contributed to clinical molecular genomics work while also supporting the human systems around the lab. I served as Employee Engagement Officer for UCH Genomics / Genetics, helping strengthen communication, morale, and team cohesion across a complex scientific environment.

01

Served as Employee Engagement Officer for UCH Genomics / Genetics.

02

Strengthened communication, morale, and team cohesion in a complex scientific organization.

03

Became a trusted operational knowledge holder in environments where assays, workflows, documentation, people, and data had to connect in practice.

Operating principles

How Filippo works

01

Build scientific systems that remain legible to operators and resilient under real laboratory pressure.

02

Use AI as controlled infrastructure for scientific work, not as a replacement for expertise.

03

Translate wet-lab complexity into workflows, documentation, and automation that reduce friction without lowering rigor.

04

Good systems should make competent people faster, clearer, safer, and harder to waste.
