Interactive Multivariable qPCR Simulator
Interactive Multivariable qPCR Simulator
A browser-based qPCR simulator that turns amplification behavior, efficiency shifts, and assay intuition into something you can inspect instead of just memorize.
Problem
qPCR is usually taught through static explanation and bench habit even though the underlying behavior is dynamic, multivariable, and much easier to understand when it can be manipulated directly.
Why it matters
This is the kind of science-facing interface that actually helps: it preserves molecular rigor while making signal behavior legible to learners, operators, and anyone trying to build stronger assay intuition.
System description
The simulator stages qPCR as an interactive browser model with controllable parameters, visible amplification changes, and a cleaner operator-facing view of how the system responds across conditions.
Operating context
The source build is a finished browser simulator from the Completed Projects workspace. This dossier exists to frame the teaching logic around it: parameter shifts, amplification behavior, and assay intuition made visible enough to manipulate instead of memorize.
Tools / methods
Constraints
- Needs to stay clear and instructional without flattening the science.
- Has to remain approachable while still feeling authored.
